Q: Why do you need progesterone shots for the twins? Did you undergo IVF?
A: Nope! It was a spontaneous pregnancy 😅 Carrying multiples (in my case, twins) automatically categorizes my pregnancy as high risk. We are prone to pre-term labor a.k.a. giving birth too early so the progesterone shots help keep the babies inside my womb for longer. Some people use the term “pangpakapit.”

Q: Hi Saab. I’m also pregnant and on my second trimester. I want to dye my hair. I noticed that you also had your hair done? 😅 What brand do you recommend? Organic is okay? Thank you
A: Hello! If you read up on it, it really shouldn’t affect your baby’s development. Even bleach is not forbidden but people like to stay on the safe side. My doctor recommends organic dye. I personally just make sure there’s no ammonia in my hair color and I don’t let anybody but professionals touch my hair. I try not to get it colored too much either. If it’s a high maintenance color like blonde, I wouldn’t recommend getting your hair colored because it needs a LOT of upkeep. I just got my hair color refreshed today (see picture above!) and asked for it to be closer to my real hair color because I just want it as low-maintenance as possible since I’ll have my hands full with two babies 😅 Honestly, if I didn’t get pregnant while I had bleached hair, I wouldn’t have bothered coloring my hair. But I believe it’s important for moms-to-be to feel good about themselves and I would’ve lost my mind if I had half dark, half blonde hair. Today I used Majirel Cool Cover Dark Brown #3 :)

“Although fairly limited, most research indicates the chemicals found in both semi-permanent and permanent dyes are not highly toxic and are safe to use during pregnancy. In addition, only small amounts of hair dye may be absorbed by the skin, leaving little that would be able to reach the fetus.” (americanpregnancy.org)

“The limited evidence that’s available suggests that it’s safe to dye your hair during pregnancy. … There are no reports of hair dye causing changes in human pregnancies, despite the fact that many women have colored their hair during pregnancy. Very little hair dye chemical is actually absorbed into your system.” (babycenter.org)

Still, I would suggest listening to your doctor’s advice. He/she would know best! P.S. Thank you so much to Karina of Regine’s Salon Ortigas for always taking care of me and my hair ❤️

Q: Hi! I just wanted to drop by and say that I listened to your 1st album today when I woke up and now I can’t get out of bed hahaha! Ultimate chill music 👌
A: Thank you so much!!

Q: Hi Saab! I’ve had this casual relationship w this guy for a few months. He told me a while back not to fall in love with him but all he does is flirt w me in front of our friends. Is that weird? lol
A: AY, siya ba si Mandy Moore sa A Walk To Remember??

Anyway, I don’t think it’s weird at all if you guys agreed to a casual relationship. If it’s weird for you and you’re developing feelings, then I would suggest speaking up. If he doesn’t want a more serious relationship then at least you know! You want to be with someone who wants you back, right?

Q: Dear Saab, You are so so very beautiful and funny as well as smart and outspoken. Always, a great role model. Sending you love, joy and fairy dust for your little ones, you and Jim!
A: That’s not a question but I’m posting it anyway because you’re sweet. 💕

Q: what is your hobby?
A: Lately it’s growing-human-limbs-inside-my-body.

Q: How did you take care of your colored hair while pregnant? I’m on my 5th month and I hate that the roots showing :(
A: See above answer!

Q: Hi Saab! How do you deal with stress right now? HELP ME. :-( PS. You’re still fabSaab even though you’re preggo. love u
A: Meditating every morning has done wonders for me talaga. I have this app called CALM and I use it every day. It was very hard at first like I always felt like I had no time to do it but it just takes 10 minutes of keeping still and training my brain to stop getting distracted and overthinking. It’s like a muscle and since I’m not allowed to exercise right now, I’ve been exercising my brain! Thank you for the compliment although that “even though you’re preggo” bit always gets me! I’ve been getting a lot of that recently and I don’t want to make a big deal out of it because I’m supposed to just take the compliment, right? But are pregnant women supposed to be ugly and unfabulous?! I guess that just seems strange to me because most of my friends that I saw pregnant looked great and happy so this notion is all new to me 😅 ANG DALDAL KO. Kailangan pang mag-meditate 😂

Q: Hi Saab! Can you tour us in your new home? :)
A: Somebody put it in my head that that’s a way for thieves to know the layout of your house so I’m paranoid about that 😅

Q: Dating this guy for 2mos now – so happy for us to be mutual. NBSB here~ Hihi pero I want it to be official na rin. So Saab, howdoyouknow sya na? He’s very vocal and effort tlga. I like him, suuuper
A: In my head kasi if I’m only seeing you and nobody else, you’re my boyfriend. It doesn’t have to be a big deal. Don’t overthink it. I used to do that and I hated that my mental list of boyfriends was growing — as if it was turning me into damaged goods the longer the list got. But omg I just got over it because WHO CARESSSSSSS?! Hahaha! Seriously! If your future life partner gives you shit for your past, that guy shouldn’t be your life partner. What I’m trying to say is this: enjoy your life. Don’t overthink these labels like “NBSB” because no one is keeping score but you. Don’t celebrate ~monthsaries~ (unless you really want to), just enjoy each other’s company. Jim never asked me to be his girlfriend. Our anniversary was our first kiss which was on our first date. Haha. ARE YOU JUDGING ME??? Best decision I ever made!😜

I agree with not showing your house in the internet! Its scary and bad people can use that. Lovely read. I miss reading your blog always but I am a Mum too so I know you are busy at the moment. Just dont forget to rest a lot as you wont have time to when you give birth. I only have one and he is a handful already I can only imagine 2 babies!!!

    Hi Miss Saab,
I hope you don’t mind but I created an article wayback 2015 using the lyrics of your late dad, the great Mr. Francis M.
I have been reading your blog for quite some time and I almost forgot when I started reading your life’s best and worst moments and I’d take this opportunity (just in case you allow this comment on your blog) to tell you that I adore you a lot. I hope someday I’ll be able to attend your gigs and hopefully meet you in person, take a short but sweet chat in a cafe (pachill chill lang) and ask you about the little things in life that matters. Andame konang echos, God bless you Ate Saab. :) http://namedafterfame.pcriot.com/2015/06/30/changing-hue-changing-you/
