I started my Spell Saab Book Club to advocate the importance of reading and my love for books. So far I’ve been able to give away titles to my blog readers for the past few years thanks to my partnership with Fully Booked but I’d like to actually start meeting up with fellow bookworms to discuss certain literature. Truthfully I have never been a part of an actual book club so I don’t know where to begin. Before I can begin my own real Spell Saab Book Club, I’ve decided to do some research by attending an existing one curated by my favorite book store called Revisiting Required Literature.
Revisiting Required Literature gives a title at least a month before the meet-up date so we can have enough time to read or re-read a certain title before meeting up to discuss the characters, the underlying themes and everything else about the book of the month.
This month’s RRL book club is meeting on April 24, Friday to talk about Gillian Flynn’s Gone Girl.
Admission is free. You may send your seat reservations to email@example.com. Kindly include your full name and contact number.
*Walk-in participants are most welcome. We ask people to reserve seats to estimate how many attendees to expect.
