Last week was the start of a lazy streak. UGH. It all began on Saturday when I found I had absolutely nowhere to be. I had some stuff I could have worked on at home but I kept using “it’s a weekend” as an excuse. So after waking up late because we had a gig the previous night, Jim had already come home from playing basketball and I felt horrible for not having done anything at all. I figured, might as well make this a lazy day! So we turned on Netflix and started watching the Netflix original docu-series, Making A Murderer. Oh. My. Goodness.
Do yourself a favor and don’t Google anything prior to watching it. We watched all 10 episodes in one day. Seriously, we had after-dinner plans with our friends and we were contemplating whether or not to ditch it because we had one episode left to watch. Since we had already committed to meeting our friends, we did it anyway but we cut it short so we could go home and finish the last episode. Are we horrible friends? Maybe. Are we human? Yes. Hahaha!
So yes, file this under TV Club — I highly recommend it. But only if you’ve got a day to spare to get it over with. Otherwise, you won’t be able to focus on anything else.
The week wasn’t completely useless though. There were were some highlights like when we went to Ely’s to record some new songs.
And when I had dinner with some of my college best friends
And then we had a No Filter reunion, where we exchanged a lot of exciting news!
Cheats was invited to play at a surprise party for the owner of Saguijo. We were told it was a house party but I didn’t expect it to be more than a few beers and bad lighting. This one was like a mini music festival!
Have to stop sleeping so late. I’m usually a morning person so it really throws me off when I wake up late. I partly blame Netflix but I mostly blame myself. Huhu. Now I cannot watch shows before I get my duties done.? Happy to say I’m back to reading before bed and not watching TV. Hehe. Yun lang, just an update! This week I’ve got some giveaways coming up to celebrate our wedding anniversary on the 24th so stay tuned!
