Last weekend was technically a long weekend for me! Isn’t it funny (sad, actually) how long weekends still feel so short? Anyway, the plan was to go to Tagaytay Thursday night after band practice for our friends’ wedding on Friday then from Tagaytay straight to Clark, Pampanga for 7107 International Music Festival. That meant I had to seriously pack everything I needed. I made 2 PACK THIS sheets for separate places. Hehe. 2PACK.
I got this at Fully Booked, along with other similar check lists. I find them very useful! Available at the check out counter of their Bonifacio High Street branch :)
Maxx, Chino, Jim and I got to Tagaytay around 1AM of Friday since we left Manila past 11PM! The bride and groom got our whole barkada a house to stay at during the trip. And it was a huge house at Splendido. ACK, I can’t believe I didn’t get to take photos of it!!
The morning of the wedding was very very busy. You see, it’s not just a wedding – it’s 2 weddings! Paolo Roco and Kristia Bulan had separate Catholic and Christian weddings to honor each other’s religions.
The morning wedding was the simple Catholic one held at Chapel On The Hill, Tagaytay. It was very intimate and sweet, only family and the closest of friends were invited. I realized I had never been to a wedding as an adult. The last wedding I remember attending was over a decade ago when I was junior bridesmaid at my cousin’s wedding. That marriage didn’t last long so I don’t really count that. It means a lot to me that the first wedding I witnessed as an adult is one I’m part of and is in fact the best I’ve been to. I know I don’t have anything to compare it to but, guys.. Everything was just so beautiful.
The newlyweds, Pao and Tia!!!:’)

I wore a dress from Topshop for the church wedding :)
In between weddings: quick brunch at Breakfast at Antonio’s – I had yummy tapa, Jim had eggs ben
Then we all had to get ready for the garden wedding! I didn’t get to take photos at the garden wedding because I really wanted to enjoy everything. Huhuhu I cried so much! Most of the photos from hereon after were taken by wedding photographer, Nicolai Melicor.

Pao with his brother and his dad. Awwww
Kristia’s beautiful sisters were her maids of honor!
The beautiful wedding dress was also made by Patricia Santos
Almost everything was handcrafted by the bride!! So yes, the signs are her handwriting!:D
Here comes the bride
CONGRATULATIONS!!! Here’s the couple with the entourage!
The reception was the cutest!! While waiting to be seated, the guests could fill out things for the couple to read later on. Once again, all D.I.Y. by the bride!
Even the table runners and cutlery holders were made by Tia!! I love it!
This is a photo taken on the day Pao and Tia met each other for the first time.
Little did we know, it wasn’t the first time Pao had seen Tia. He saw her even before that, at a coffee shop and thought she was the most beautiful girl. His vows revealed that at the soiree this photo was taken, he cheated during the games just so he could spend more time with her. 8 years later, they exchanged vows at the altar. It’s the sweetest love story and I melt at how meant to be these 2 are.
If you’re a long time blog reader of mine, you’ll definitely know this couple. I will always be here for the both of them because I believe so much in their love. Can’t wait to meet your future babies!!!
