“Pics or it didn’t happen” is often said when someone makes a claim about something that’s pretty unbelievable. An example of something unbelievable is how beloved video chatting app Skype has possibly trumped itself by launching a new app that’s even better for today’s quick-paced lifestyle.
Skype Qik (pronounced “quick”) is a video messaging app that lets you exchange instant 40-second video messages for free. You can make a chat group with your friends and everyone can reply with their own short video messages. What makes Skype Qik different from other apps that offer video messaging is its super simple user interface. You just sign up using your mobile number and you can instantly send videos to your friends just as if you’re texting.
As the video above explains, you can pre-record 5-second Qik Flicks and send it if you’re too busy to record a live response. Another thing that sets Skype Qik apart from its competitors is that you can delete a video you’ve already sent and it will be automatically removed from your friends’ mobile devices as well. Speaking of mobile devices, Skype Qik is available on iPhone, Android and Windows phones.
So I guess the new challenge is now “Qik or it Didn’t Happen.” Download the app today!:)
