I was craving some Japanese food after a meeting the other day. Okay, let’s be honest, I think of Japanese food every waking moment. Hehehe. I was with mom in BGC and I wanted something quick but filling so we decided to go to Tokyo Tokyo. If you’ve been following me on Instagram, I’m sure you’ve seen their pretty meals on my feed once or twice. They’ve been constantly adding new items to their menu like Snack Bento meals, Ramen variants, Donburi meals, and sweet treats – all of which I am not ashamed to say I’ve tried!! Hehehe.
Now they’ve rolled in something for all my fellow Katsu lovers! They’ve just launched their biggest Katsu ever – the Big Chicken Katsu Bento. There are 3 variants and since it’s so affordable, mom and I ordered all 3 so we could try them all.
Their chicken katsu is crunchy on the outside but soft and juicy on the inside – exactly how I want my katsu.
They’re made with thick cuts of tender chicken breast fillet coated with crispy and golden Japanese Panko breadcrumbs, seasoned with a selection of flavorful spices.
My personal favorite is the Teriyaki Big Chicken Katsu because it’s sweet and savory, although the other two are very good as well especially for you guys who like their sauce on the side.
The meals come with shredded cabbage, red iced tea, your choice of miso soup and dessert or California Maki and the best part? All the rice you want. Haha!
Head on over to the nearest Tokyo Tokyo branch and try out the newest Big Chicken Katsu!
