I’m so thankful that my maid of honor is really doing a great job of keeping me on track in terms of fitness! Maxx and I have been training with Coach Tina (who is under Coach Froilan Dioso) every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a little over a month now. Not counting the week after I got attacked and last week when I wasn’t feeling well, I’ve never missed a session! I was on my 14th session today!

Maxx got her two best friends Ana and Sari to start training with us too so we always get a couple of laughs in when we see each other’s intense faces hahaha. Monday was fun as usual!

DSC01883

Malungkot ka ba?! Haha

DSC01886

DSC01880

DSC01896

Coach Tina believes we should train happy so some routines involve partnering up and trying not to giggle while doing the exercise haha

DSC01887

Then there are the hard ones but see, I can still smile!! :D

DSC01894

Coach Tina is very strict – we end up with sore bodies the next day but not TOO sore that we can’t move anymore. I’ve personally experienced my core getting stronger so my exercises are now more intense.

DSC01901

Sari doesn’t even need to work out!!! But she actually motivates me because if a slender and toned girl like her works out then I’m thinking uhh yeah, I think I should too haha. Also, hi Ana!!

I’ve been eating much healthier too. Nothing drastic, just healthier portions and more vegetables. I try to stay away from rice, bread and pasta because I’m carb-sensitive. I’m glad I learned how to make cauliflower rice.

DSC01652

Wash the cauliflower and let it dry. Cut up the florets into small uniform bits.

DSC01658

Torture? Yeah

DSC01672

Pero kebs!

DSC01674

Put it in a food processor and pulse (press, let go, press, let go, press.. gets mo na?) until it’s close to the size of rice

DSC01676

Transfer in a microwave safe dish, cover completely with lid, microwave for 7 minutes.

DSC01682

Of course super flop I have no photo of the finished product (thanks to Lauren for taking these pics btw!!). Basta be careful when removing the lid because really hot steam will come out. Fluff with a fork and add salt and pepper to taste! I like eating ulam with rice and this is a great alternative!

I’ve also been eating a lot of salad for lunch. I had this cheese and avocado salad for lunch today after going to the gym! (photo taken with my phone)

photo 4

I’m not crazy, of course. I still have pizza and whatever I want in moderation on weekends. I very recently cut beer from my diet because I followed my super healthy diet one week but drank beer at night and para na rin akong nag pig out sa laki ng tiyan ko. KAINIS.

To thank my trainer for all the help and support, I’m giving away Coach Froilan Dioso‘s Fat Burner to 3 lucky readers!

DSC01902

One pill contains 1000mg of Conjugated Linoleic Acid (80% FFA), 125mg of Green Tea Extract, 50mg of L. Carnitine and 10mg of Vitamin C. I take one soft gel 30 minutes after every meal.

DSC01904

How to join? Just leave a comment below telling me why you should take one bottle home! Open to Philippine residents only! Contest ends 11:59PM on Sunday, June 22! All comments are moderated so if you don’t see it right away – don’t panic! I’ll approve it once I read it :)

So will you keep ordering fast food??

nono

Will you start making healthier choices?

self_high_five

I’m certainly not the skinniest I’ve ever been but I have never loved my strong body this much. I swear, I keep looking at my butt in the mirror. Hindi pa perfect but super noticeable change!! I’ll post before and after photos after my 30th session haha!

UPDATE: Winners are Elle, Pat and Trina – I’ve contacted you guys via e-mail! Congrats!

Hi Saab! Please pick me. I really admire you for being a very strong woman who has a great attitude with life. Add to that your close relationship with your family pa. I know, that’s what everyone tells you but believe me, those are what I really feel when I read your blog or your tweets. Please don’t change and continue to inspire people through your blog.

And even if you don’t pick me, I’d continue to be your avid fangirl. Stay awesome! And keep safe. :)

I should take one bottle home because I need it to be my motivation for me to be healthier and more fit! I always kept getting thoughts like, “I’m tired/stressed/sleepy/bored so I’ll eat”, and I want it to change. I have been planning to have a membership at a gym, but for some reasons (like I’m busy at work) I keep forgetting it. But anyway, if I got this, I’ll make sure to change my unhealthy habits na!!! Hehe.

Hi Saab! I should take one bottle home because I want to give it to my sister as a graduation present. I want her to feel more confident when she face the real world. My sister is not the skinny type of girl and it has been an issue to her. I have seen her working hard to have a toned body. She has also been controlling her diet. She has been asking me to buy her a box of green tea. I believe that this one is better than green tea because it contains 125mg of green tea extract and other beneficial components that help in weight loss. I believe that we should embrace the body that we have but having a healthy lifestyle is the best way to have a strong body. Good luck Saab in your journey of achieving a toned body!

Girrrrrrrrrrrl. Naexcite ako sa giveaway mo na to. I’m a workout junkie and I’m excited to share to you my story! :)

2011 – nagstart akong mag workout/diet. I still had baby fats nun kaya ang dami kong naburn by just running sa threadmill. Nag-strict diet na rin ako. As in intense kinda diet, from fish to no-carb bread. I also had boxing and insanity for cardio workout. Naging 120 lbs ako from 132. Also, eto yung taon ng unang heart break ko. (SHET!) naging alas ko yung pagiging depressed everyday. Kahit na ang sarap ng food sa harap ko, palaging walang gana. And I thought, hey! Ok na pala yung ganito. Until 2012.

2012 – since 2012 naging ok na ang lovelife ko, (yessssssss) this was the year na hindi ko inalagaan ang sarili ko. Sa sobrang saya ko sa buhay, kain ako ng kain. For a year, I ate a lot of junks. After lunch at work, desserts! Ice cream! 2 cup rice! Push! Tapos kapag mag ggym (kunyari), crosstraining lang. tapos out na! Hindi ako naliligo after gym kasi walang pawis!!!! Ganun ako ka-slack non. Nawala yung motivation ko to be healthy kasi masaya ako! What more can I ask for ddbaaa??? Ang sarap kaya mag buffet weekly! Last quarter of 2012, hindi na kasya ang mga damit ko :( I did bought new set of clothes! From Medium to Large!!! Kalurks. Soooooo, I was once 145 lbs. NKKLK

2013 – nung nag start yung year, sinabi ko sa sarili ko na kelangan kong ayusin ang buhay ko. If not now, when?? So what I did was, January-February: I convinced myself, no rice na tayo, beh. Kelangan na nating gawin to!!! Avoid desserts during lunch. Mag pineapple na lang para fiber! Chos. March-April: Bumili na ko ng mga diet food ko and nagseryoso na ako sa workout. As in seryoso. At first, syempre ang dali kong hingalin. Bilang ang taba ko noon, first 10 mins nganga. Pagod agad. Nagbalik loob ako sa boxing and insanity. Promise! Tapos confident na ako mag Bikini! Awwyeah! Masaya rin na merong cheat weekend to help me with my cravings. From 145 lbs naging 125 lbs. ANSABEHHHH!

2014 – this year, mas nag focus ako sa toning ko, because I love big butts and I cannot lie! Kaso nag plateau ako. Na-bore ako sa mga routine na dating nagpapaexcite sakin. Kasi dati I have a lot of fats to burn eh. Ngayon, toning na lang. I hope this fat burner of froilan dioso will help me lose more belly fats and help me get the toned body. So for your question, yes to fast food (once in a while) and HELL YEAH to healthier choices! =)
Sobrang haba ng comment ko, pero feeling ko deserve ko sya! Thanks Saab for reading. XX

I’ve always been drained out of energy doing a lot of school works and theater everyday last semester. When stress, I find eating as my coping mechanism. I always eat fast food since I want to finish my works on time. And as a result, my body had gained weight terribly. And considering my class is Monday to Saturday, I don’t have a luxury of time to exercise and work out. Since it’s still my vacation, I’m catching up to be fit and healthy again. I jog and bike everyday, and eats real food now. But I find munching veggies a woe experience, since I can not intake all these since I’m not used to be vegetarian before. I think all I need for now is a suitable food supplement that will help me to be fit and healthy again as school is approaching. Let Froilan Dioso’s fat burner be my work out partner!

Like you, I’ll be a bride soon. Getting married by Feb of next year. But unlike you, I’m not so young anymore(32, 33 by the time we get married), and my metabolism sucks big time. I used to gain weight fast, but I get to lose it fast as well…but not anymore. :(

I do my cardio workout 3x a week. As much as I’d like to go enroll in a gym and have a proper motivator, I just couldn’t with all the expenses coming our way(we’ll be building our home soon too :)).

So there, aside from diet and exercise, I would like to have a little helper on the side. Please help me be glam on my wedding day. :)

I’m a fresh graduate this year and I am aiming to apply to be a cabin crew on some major airlines, I got the height (Aye! Aye!) but my weight? Maybe a little bit more shedding ;) (Currently 150lbs). Most likely that would help me on my “Oplan tabas taba” I’m currently doing some home exercise and I make it to the point to at least run or jog for 30mins a day. I am really hoping that you could be a blessing to me. Thanks, Saab! Have a good day and Godbless!

I am in dire need of a bottle because I’m a good 5 kilos heavier than my boyfriend, which is about 10 kilos more than what I am supposed to be. I’ve been trying to eat healthier and exercise, but I’m so undisciplined that it’s more of an on-again-off-again sort of thing. I’ve just eaten about 10 kweks-kweks not half an hour ago, so I am now kicking myself silly. I need all the help I can get!

I need Coach Froilan Dioso‘s Fat Burner in my life because I gained soooo much weight since I entered college last 2011! From 45kgs to 60kgs!! It’s crazy!!! Masarap kasi ang rice!! My clothes from highschool won’t fit me anymore! I’ve tried a hundred times to go on a diet but I always fail because, when I was 18, I admit, that my self-discipline was close to zero. I didn’t watch what I ate because I always had (pwede din “have” kasi it still happens but controlled na!) an excuse that I’m studying or I’m stressed from school.

I also went on a “no-beer-or-else-magmumukha-kang-buntis-sa-laki-ng-tiyan-mo” diet but, again, I failed because how can I resist such thing?? God made beer to make us happy!! Chos. Another excuse! Hahaha!

BUT, miracles still happen!! I promised to myself that I’m going to go on a diet because if I don’t, panget ako sa yearbook and I don’t want that to happen!! So last June 11, I enrolled myself in a gym and me and my beckies called our gym program “Balik Alindog Program” hahaha! And yes, it is a hundred times more fun when you go to the gym with your friends!!

I’m also trying this no-rice diet but I think I’ll try to substitute rice with Cauliflower flower!

Thanks for the tip, Saab!! <3

    Hi Saab!

I have always been anti-gym. I want to be thin, with abs and thigh gap, perky butt and all that impossible things to achieve without doing anything. I am now turning 26. I FINALLY accepted the fact that if I want to change how my body looks, and not just my weight, I have to start working my butt (pun intended) and work hard for it and not just do those diet fads. Though it is such a challenge giving up Coke, beer, even that whole cup of rice (I eat everyday with 5 engineers because of work) I find it really rewarding that I can see changes kahit na little by little lang. I like it that I am stronger, my skin is better, and I am eating healthier.

So ayun lang. Haha! It would be nice to try these supplements, though. Baka ito na ang push na kailangan ko for the much coveted thigh gap. Haha. God bless you more, Saab! =)

It made me realize that exercising is something you do to keep you fit not just a past time or what coz some other does so they can say their in the gym. You kinda motivated me Im playing basketball we do road biking but its almost 3yrs since I stepped in a gym. Hi Saab.

I have always been fat (the fat child, the fat friend, etc). I’ve lost weight when I enrolled into dance classes (Yes. I tried Pole Dancing haha) But I also gained the weight back.

This year, I decided to make a lifestyle change. I enrolled myself in a gym last January, and I’ve been working out (and eating healthy) eversince. Not only have I lost weight, but also, I love how it gave me the confidence, good health (I am not sakitin anymore) and the workout glow :))))

When I started this journey, I was only thinking of losing all the fats and excess weight. From 183lbs, I am now 155lbs! But lately I’ve been thinking,I want to be a fitspiration to others as well. (Meydo feelingera haha)

I know that Coach Froilan Dioso’s Fat burner will help me be a better version of myself. I would really love to take one bottle home.

    Hi Saab!

Hindi naman ako umaasa manalo, pero magbabasakali pa din ako kasi malay mo! Sa blog contests mo lang ako sumasali, ha! Yung sa Malaysia contest mo sumali din ako pero ngagabels! Haha. :)

Anyway! I’ve been going to gold’s since November last year and although hindi naman ako ganun kataba, parang wala akong nakikitang improvements. Torture! Pero serious naman ako. Dati, gusto ko mag-gym so I can still eat whatever I want pero ngayon parang I realized na I have to do it to be healthy and fit. My friends and I tried boxing and conditioning na din recently and I must say, ang sarap na ang hirap! I think I like it better than magpa-cute sa gym! Charot!

Another problem of mine is.. masarap magluto mama ko so kahit naka-mindset na ako na hindi ako kakain ng dinner (or hindi kakain ng madami on weekends), nawa-waley ako kasi parang nang-aasar pa si mudra! And I can’t cook to save my life so paano?? Lemon water na lang forever ganern? So I guess this fat burner will help me bigtime! Gusto ko na mag-“hello world” yung abs ko! Char! :)

    Thanks, curl! :*

Hi ate Saab! First of, I really think you have a great beach bod and I can’t believe you’re actually getting married now! Time flies so fast, huh? So… Why should I win that bottle? Because basically, I think the idea how MY society (yes the people around me) label people as “beautiful” kills me inside. Your skin matter. Your face matters. Your hair matters. And most especially, your weight matters. Just like Beyoncé’s song, it “PRETTY HURTS”. But I know the real enemy here is my ego. Well I’m not saying that I’ve been bullied about being not beautiful and sexy but I always get so insecure and so sucked up thinking that I’ll NEVER be good enough just to fit in. My insecurities have been eating me. I know, I know. I’m so insecure. Honestly, all I want is to have a fit body. Nevermind if nobody can call it sexy but I just want to trim down these belly fats and flabby arms and start getting a flat stomach. I’ve been trying dieting and doing cardio (last month) but these just won’t work out and I become more depressed and stop doing these things. I just want to feel, even just a day with the help of this bottle if ever I’m gonna win, sexy and beautiful and I’ll promise to continue with all cost what I just have started. I want my own eyes to see the beauty in me.

Sorry kung medyo madrama. :)) I’m a college student and it’s really hard to fit in this world.

    Hi Saab!

I’ve been fat all of my life and needless to say, I’ve tried to lose weight and failed multiple times. I’m only turning 20 but I’m at my highest weight and my BMI is now under obese. Symptoms of PCOS are also starting to show up. I know how much would change if I lose weight– I’d definitely be more confident in my own skin, can shop clothes easier, be healthier, and etc. I know the only person who can make it all happen is myself. But a little help like a bottle of Fat Burner would surely play a big part in my weight-loss journey now that I’m really serious in getting healthier this year.

    Thanks for reading!

I should take that one bottle since I am feeling unsatisfied and low with my body weight, I am feeling hopeless, depressed, and I am about to kill my self if I am not going to have that. That is the only answer on to my obesity problem that I am experiencing since forever. So please pick me and save my life. If I’ll die I will visit you anywhere you’ll go. HAHAHAHHA

PS. I always read your blogs and this is the first time that I have joined your blog contest promo. And by the way, you are a beautiful and the most peculiar person I’ve found.

Another awesome rice alternative (just in case the cauliflower rice gets boring) is quinoa! It’s a superfood that packs a lot of protein. It’s good as a kanin substitute or part of a salad.

Hi Saab! Where can I buy the Fat Burner? :)
Also, could you create more posts on your food? Thats actually my struggle, especially the rice! I will try that cauliflower rice that you did.
Thank you! You’re such an inspiration. I also have slightly mapisngi face and super hassle puson thats bigger than my upper abs area. And i just cant target my workout to remove that puson! Sobra hassle talaga.
Anyway, looking forward to more of your fun posts!

    Hi Sab,

I really needed something like thisssss :) I’ve been doing exercise (walking and jog for an hour) every other day, Trying to cut my RICE intake. Literally since I am a rice monster. HAHAHA. I am into half a cup of rice/meal. I don’t eat dinner. But then parang wala namang nagyayari. I tried zumba before pero since I relocated due to work, na stop din po. Malapit na akong mawalan ng pag-asa and just accept the fact na hindi na mababalik yung 27 kong waistline ( i am a 30 now :( :( :( )Pero AJA! Sana manalo ako to prove that miracles do happen and free :)

Hi Saab! After reviewing for my board examinations in July of 2012, I was at my heaviest at 90kg. And then I realized that my weight needs to stop getting higher so I gradually started to change my lifestyle which was sort of easy because I had a lot of time on my hands then (I was a bum hehe). In 2013, I lost 20 kilograms and was really happy with my improvement. This 2014 However, I went back to school and I just could not help myself from stress-eating especially when reviewing for exams. My current weight is 75kg and upon reading your post, I decided to get in shape again and this time, reach my goal which is to have a Normal BMI for once in my life. I know I’ll get by with a little help from (my friends) the fat burner. Thanks and have a nice day :]

Hi Saab! I remember a blog post from you from before (http://www.spellsaab.com/2012/06/no-im-not-fat/) and I could super relate! I was happy naman with how I looked but everyone wasn’t and it started to really depress me. January to September of last year, my relatives kept commenting about how I’ve gotten fat and would pinch the fats in my arms (I HATE THAT!!) and be like “bawas bawas tayo sa pagkaina ah!” It affected me so much that I’d seriously try not to eat for days. It depressed me too much because all the while, I’ve been doing home exercises like Insanity and work my ass off and this is the reward I get? It was such a downer! I decided to finally act on this and enroll in a gym with a trainer so at least I’d be doing the right exercises for my body type. I tried kickboxing and i loved it so much! I focused my mind on all the negative comments that were said to me about my weight everytime I’d hit or kick something. It felt so good! Hahaha I did end up losing weight and my relatives noticed and it felt so good cause it was like multiple “HA in your face” moments! Hahaha now though I’m kind of in a plateau and I need to step up my workouts again and I would love to try those supplements when I do!

Sorry biglang naging dramatic haha! Just wanted to say that I felt so happy when I found that blogpost of yours (link doesn’t work now though, idk why :( )cause it made me feel like someone finally understands the stupidity of judging people or even insulting them based on their physical appearance. Thank you for speaking up about it because no one ever does. I think that post helped me get to where I am now, which is in a state of “i don’t care what you think, all i know is i look good” phase hahaha good luck with your workouts and congrats on the wedding! :)

Hello! :) This post has certainly inspired me to keep working out and eat healthier. I would love to have Coach Froilan Dioso’s Fat Burner because I reached 169 pounds at its peak. I told myself I would never want to top that weight ever again, and motivated myself to eat healthy and do a couple of cardio! I am also against bullying, and sometimes when you are overweight, people can get insensitive about their comments about someone else’s body. That’s also one of the reasons why I started to cut off the junk food and eat healthier. Apparently, I still am chubby but lost a few pounds but with the help of Coach Froilan Dioso’s Fat Burner, I know I’ll be able to reach my target weight (which is around 130-135 pounds since my height is only 5’6). I would really love to try it and see the wonders it can do to my body!!! :)

You inspire me a lot, thanks for posting this!

    Hi Saab!

I deserve to take a bottle home because I feel like it will complement my new workout regimen. I just recently went through a break up and I found that jogging/working out helps me to cope with it. I find that it helps me improve myself by teaching me discipline and working hard!It also clears my mind and helps me to focus! Exercise and a healthy lifestyle are things that help me move on and focus on more important things :)
